2.36% of voters marked ballots in Centru district by 08.20
The voter turnout in Chisinau’s Centru district at 08.20 was 2.36%, shows the electronic register tested at the local polling places. The Central Election Commission (CEC) will make public the first information about the turnout of voters in the municipality of Chisinau after 9.00, Info-Prim Neo reports.
A number of 43 polling places were set up in Centru district. The records are updated every ten seconds. CEC president Iurie Ciocan said all the polling places inside the country were opened without incidents.
The Commission will provid updated information about the voter turnout every three hours – at 10.00, 13.00, 16.00, and 19.00. The partial election results will be made known at 22.00, 23.00, 00.00, 1.00, 2.00, and 3.00.
As many as 2,000 polling places were established in Moldova. 300 of them are in the municipality of Chisinau.
