As many as 320 firefighters will be ready to deal with fires with about 100 vehicles on Easter night, Info-Prim Neo reports. Alexei Lavrinenko, deputy head of the Rescuers and Firefighters Division, told a news conference that a tank with water will be brought to the Metropolitan Cathedral on the night of April 15, while a mobile firefighting team will be on guard. The same will happen at the largest cemetery of the country on Low Sunday, on April 22-23. During the latest inspections carried out at churches, there were identified violations of the anti-fire rules. Some of them were removed immediately. Prescriptions were issued for dealing with the other violations. The priests holding services were instructed how to prevent fires and ensure the people’s safely. Measures were taken to ensure access to churches. Special places for lighting candles were set up. Through the agency of teachers, the students were warned against staging pyres on Easter near houses and annexes, especially in the fields with dry vegetation.
