All components of governing alliance work for PCRM

“All the components of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) directly or indirectly work for the Communist Party,” former Minister of Information Technology in AEI 1 Alexandru Oleinic stated for Info-Prim Neo, when asked to assess the behavior of the electoral contenders in the election campaign. “The settling of accounts between the leaders of the Alliance, discrediting disclosures, accidental meetings, defections of important figures from different parties – all these actions bring votes to the PCRM. The members of the Alliance are at war with each other and ignore the Communist Party, which does not sleep. The Alliance forgot about the eight years of Communist rule too quickly. They all consider themselves winners and believe they are the favorites of the voters,” said Alexandru Oleinic. He warned that the behavior of the political class can massively disappoint the people. “After the elections, it will be impossible for the parties to come to terms, pretend that nothing happened and say they should join forces for the country’s benefit. Such a behavior will make the number of undecided voters to rise from 30% to 60%. And there are no alternatives. The extraparliamentary parties are too weak and their composition looks suspect for most of the voters. At least two new political parties, created by persons who will leave the parties of which they are now members, may be launched before the parliamentary elections. It is not excluded that the present atmosphere will help them attract a part of the undecided voters and become thus political projects that will be more successful than the parties founded when the Alliance was formed and the voters had great expectations,” said the ex-minister. A former heavyweight of the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN), Alexandru Oleinic disapproves of the party’s merger with the Liberal Democratic Party and thus did not join the PLDM. In mid-April, Alexandru Oleinic said that after the June 5 local elections he could launch a political party consisting of former AMN members and other persons disappointed by the work of the components of the ruling alliance, Info-Prim Neo reports.
