Head of Parliament Andrian Candu had a telephone discussion with the president of the Supreme Soviet of Transnistria Mihail Burla. The two agreed to meet in Chisinau next week, IPN reports.

The Speaker said the telephone discussion formed part of the effort made to encourage the dialogue with the authorities of the Gagauz autonomous region and of the Transnistrian region, for the benefit of all the citizens of Moldova.

For the purpose, Andrian Candu and Mihail Burla decided to meet to discuss a possible common plan of action that would benefit the people from both sides of the Nistru River.
