The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) sent the results of an inspection at “Salcioara–Vascan” SRL, which holds a license for the supply and distribution of natural gas, to the Prosecutor General’s Office. According to the Agency, this company stole a very large amount of natural gas, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communiqué, the ANRE says the inspection was carried out following a petition informing that the administration of “Salcioara–Vascan” SRL, together with employees of SRL “Chisinau-Gaz”, falsified the natural gas records and stole natural gas. The inspection carried out by employees of the ANRE at the company identified a number of illegalities, including the theft of over 500,000 cubic meters of natural gas assessed at almost 2 million lei. The ANRE presumes that the figures may be much higher as the company refused to present all the bookkeeping documents for verification.
