Artur Cozma excluded from PCRM

The primary party organization excluded Artur Cozma from the Party of Communists (PCRM) by a unanimous vote. Such a decision was taken because Artur Cozma, as a member of the Broadcasting Coordination Council, voted for banning the retransmission of the Russian TV channel Rossia 24 in Moldova, IPN reports.

In a statement, the PCRM says Artur Cozma, who was elected as a member of the BCC on April 30, voted in breach of the party’s decision. The PCRM made statements by which it expressed its indignation at the Council’s decision to halt the retransmission of Rossia 24.

Several days ago, the PCRM announced that Artur Cozma resigned from the post of member of the Broadcasting Coordination Council, but afterward Cozma refuted this information.
