Autumn-winter session of legislature opens Sept. 29
The Parliament’s fist sitting of the autumn-winter session will take place on September 29. The date was decided by the Parliament’s Standing Bureau in a meeting on September 23, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The list of bills that are to be examined by the MPs in the first sitting includes overdue bills and proposals submitted by the executive. The list also contains several initiatives put forward by MPs.
The 2012 state budget and budgetary-fiscal policy proposals for the next year are among the priorities of the coming session. There will be also considered the proposal to increase the term for holding new elections when the election results are not validated.
The MPs went on vacation on July 29 leaving over 20 bills unexamined.
