The fact that Eduard Baghirov remains under arrest is irritating and this case should be solved as soon as possible, Russian Ambassador in Chisinau Valery Kuzimin said in a news conference, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
“More questions as regards the reasons and causes for the arrest arose after we obtained information from Moldovan courts of law. We could not lately meet Eduard Baghirov, but the Embassy’s employees have the duty to monitor the situation of the Russian citizen,” said Valery Kuzimin.
He also said that Moscow will react to the situation of Eduard Baghirov, stressing this case is irritating and bothersome and it will be more favorable for the relations between Moldova and Russia if it is solved quickly.
