The Cabinet has extended until 2026 the deadline by which the land registration and valuation must be completed. The authorities said that the delimitation of public property was completed in 57 administrative-territorial units, the registration of private property in 98 localities, and the correction of previously committed errors was made in 252 localities, IPN reports.

Through a draft approved by the Cabinet, the term “2020-2023” is replaced by “2020-2026”. Thus, the completion of the primary registration of private property and the delimitation works of public real estate is to be ensured by 2026. Likewise, the errors previously committed in the land transfer process are to be corrected.

According to the draft law, cadastral works for the massive primary private property registration of about 300,000 lots located near houses and gardens, delimitation works of 150,000 public real estate units and the correction of about 50,000 errors committed in the land transfer process remain to be carried out.
