The Central Election Commission (CEC) has accredited the first international observers for the parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019. These were fielded by the Embassies of Qatar and France in Moldova. The decision was taken by the CEC in its November 27 meeting, IPN reports.

The Commission also adopted decisions concerning the delegation of two functionaries of the CEC Apparatus to take part in the observation of the early parliamentary elections that will be held in Armenia on December 9, 2018 and regarding the assigning of seats of councilor on the local councils of a number of localities.
