The Central Election Commission (CEC) will request the Constitutional Court to validate the seat of MP of the substitute candidate on the list of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) Ana Speianu, IPN reports.

The decision was taken after the Commission took note of the vacancy in the PAS parliamentary group following the resignation tendered by Mihai Popșoi.

The next substitute candidates on the PAS’s list is the current head of Florești district Vasile Tîltu, who yet informed the CEC about his decision to renounce the seat of MP.

Thus, the seat will go to Ana Speianu from Dubăsarii Vechi village of Criuleni district. She is 51 and is a teacher by profession.
