The Central Election Commission decided that new local elections will be held in Pervomaisc village of Causeni district and in Tipala and Ulmu villages of Ialoveni district on May 14, 2017, IPN reports.
According to CEC member Iurie Ciocan, the posts of mayor in the three communities fell vacant after the mayors tendered their resignations.
