Emma Tabarta is to meet with the depositors of the recently gone bankrupt Investprivatbank for talks in order “to clarify the situation and avoid disinformation among the depositors”, the central bank said in a press release. Liquidator Ion Ropot will attend the talks. To create conditions for effective communication during such talks, the central bank considers it appropriate that the depositors assemble in groups no larger than 10 persons, it was said in the communique. The depositors that gathered outside Investprivatbank's quarters on Tuesday morning were told by bank officials that they needed to file applications for refund at the bank's outlets where they initially deposited their savings. Such applications can be filed starting today at 14:00, they have been told. After examining the applications, individuals will need to file another document at the bank where they will be asked to indicate whether they will take the money or decide to deposit it with another bank.
