Communist lawmakers absent from Parliament's sitting

The Communist parliamentary group did not come to the April 21 siting of the legislative body. The Parliament's secretary said he does not know why the Opposition MPs were absent, Info-Prim Neo reports. Before the sitting, the lawmakers of the ruling alliance had an ad hoc meeting to consider whether to include a number of bills in today's agenda. Among the bills is the Liberal Party's initiative to grant concessions to the owners of cars with foreign license numbers. The Liberal leader Mihai Ghimpu also insisted that the bill concerning the exemption of the trolleybuses bought from Belarus from VAT and customs duties should be debated.
