Cotul Morii village will be relocated

The Government on July 14 decided that the village Cotul Morii will be relocated. The place where there will be built houses for flood victims has not been yet selected. A number of 2,379 persons have been evacuated so far from the flood-hit villages Nemteni, Cotul Morii, Obileni and Sarateni of Hancesti district, Info-Prim Neo reports. The flood victims who do not have where to stay will be accommodated at the dormitories of the vocational school and construction college from Hancesti. The new houses will be ready by December. The Cabinet approved a bill to exempt the companies that will build houses for flood victims from paying the VAT. The flood victims from the four villages and from Briceni and Nisporeni districts will continue to receive by 500 lei for current needs. A sum of 750,000 lei has been distributed so far. There will be allocated 275,000 lei more. Prime Minister Vlad Filat said next week he will ask the Government of Romania to allocate a part of the grant of €102 million provided to Moldova for building houses for persons affected by floods. Today's meeting of the Government was held in the secondary school of Nemteni.
