Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met with representatives of extra-parliamentary parties ahead of the first Moldova-EU Intergovernmental Conference.

Gherasimov emphasized the interest of the parties to contribute to the process of preparing our country for pre-accession to the European Union. “I encouraged the participants in the discussion to get actively involved, together with their colleagues from their parties, in promoting European values ​​in the localities of our country”, Gherasimov said, as quoted in a press release.

The deputy prime minister informed the parties about the developments on the European agenda and consulted the general negotiating position of the Republic of Moldova for the first Intergovernmental Conference.
