At the request of the Communist MPs, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar will present the text of the draft Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with the EU in Parliament, during the Government Hour. The Liberals requested that the Security and Information Service should render a report on the military drills staged by Moldovan and Romanian servicemen, also during the Government Hour, IPN reports.

The Liberals’ proposal to question Prosecutor General Corneliu Gurin about the suicide of a soldier near Bulboaca training ground in today’s sitting didn’t garner the necessary number of votes. The Communists’ request to question Minister of the Interior Dorin Recean about the crime situation in the country also wasn’t supported.

The Communist lawmakers also demanded inviting Prime Minister Iurie Leanca to Parliament for questioning, but their proposal was rejected.
