Doctors League's chairman: Doctors must do their job conscientiously and not go into political harassments
A number of doctors associations urge the community to avoid any biased attitude and influence in medically assisting the victims of the turmoil in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to Gheorghe Ghidirim, the chairman of the Doctors League from Moldova, the signing associations try to prevent the appearance of such cases.
“We remind our colleagues to fulfill their duties conscientiously and not to go into different political disputes,” Gheorghe Ghidirim said.
According to the director of the Health Policies and Analyses Center, Viorel Soltan, the appeal was necessary to show “that the doctors deal with health, not with politics.”
The signatories urge all the doctors, which may be involved in medical examinations these days, to stay equidistant, fair and to base themselves on the medical ethics.
