Dorin Chirtoaca, who is running for the third consecutive term as mayor general of Chisinau municipality, was among the first who voted at polling place No. 1/79, located at 57/2 Calea Iesilor St. When he went out, he told the journalists that he voted for the continuation of the development of Chisinau, IPN reports.

“As I started in 2007, with the slogan “a young mayor – a European capital”, I want to achieve this goal and the projects that will be implemented over the next few years will be a proof of the European development of Chisinau,” said Dorin Chirtoaca.

By 8am, 27 persons voted at polling place No. 1/79.
