The National Patrolling Inspectorate calls on the motorists to avoid going on trips to the southern districts of the country, where there are snowdrifts on the roads and the strong winds impede the snow cleanup efforts, IPN reports.

The Inspectorate’s press officer Uliana Catan said that a number of police crews and teams of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service helped to tow ten units of transport out of snowdrifts in Slobozia Mare and Vulcanesti. Five of them were large trucks.
