Ensuring votes is more important than candidates, Vlad Filat

Finding candidates for President is not so important; more importantly is to ensure that there are enough votes, stated Liberal-Democrat Vlad Filat commenting on Marian Lupu's decision to withdraw from the presidential race, Info-Prim Neo. Vlad Filat recalled that there are 62 non-Communist votes in Parliament and if the parliamentarians will think about the interest of the country rather than of their parties' or own interests, a President will be elected. Vlad Filat reiterated that if early parliamentary elections were to occur economic and socials reforms as well as European integration efforts could be suspended for an undetermined period.
