The stars are preparing an explosive combination for New Year's Eve, when, adding to the phenomenon called the Blue Moon, a lunar eclipse and other troublesome planetary aspects will intrude on the merrymaking mood. This is why astrologist Sergiu Sumca advises much caution and moderation, especially in alcohol consumption, on New Year's Eve. A blue moon is when the full moon phase occurs twice in a calendar month. Adding to the fact that a full moon, especially a blue moon, is in itself not quite good news in astrological terms, a lunar eclipse will come in on December 31, at around 10:00 PM, to complicate things even more. “In astrology, as well as in astronomy, both lunar and solar eclipses are regarded as sources of negative energy”, says Sergiu Sumca, adding that the lunar eclipse on December 31 will be followed by a solar eclipse on January 15. “In the case of eclipses, the stars recommend us a couple of things: we shall be aware that on December 31 in the evening hours, but in the daytime hours too, there will be a difficult period, especially since there are a few troublesome planetary combinations adding to this mix. The chronic diseases will become more acute in this period, and the risk of getting injured will amplify”, says Sergiu Sumca, advising drivers to leave their cars at home and opt for public conveyance instead. Also, the astrologist says, we should be extremely cautious while drinking alcohol at the New Year's party, because in combination with these astrological aspects alcohol can turn things really ugly. “Consciousness is blocked letting subconsciousness surface, and a man can do really ugly things which he could regret his entire life. In this sense, especially people with mental illnesses should be supervised. Those 'sound' should also be very, very cautious”. “We should moderate that limitless cheer that we already imagine dominating us, because it won't be as we wish, but as God wishes.
