The leader of the Democratic Action Party (PAD) Mihai Godea said that his party is open to discussions over the support for the Premier designate Vlad Filat and his government program, but those who want to remain in power must assess their commitments and deeds first, IPN reports.

In the program “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, Mihai Godea said that the Government of Moldova will be invested and the mechanism was already set off. The political leaders do not have what to offer in the early elections because they don’t have what to tell to the people. At the same time, Moldova does not have statesmen who would think in an elite-like way. The officials are able only to fight for a leading place when they have to lay flowers.

The PAD leader considers that the talks are already over and the political leaders are on expecting positions. “The talks were held in the 1+1 format. I don’t know if the Liberals will enter the future Government. I think that agreements were already reached. Regretfully, the country will not benefit from what is going on,” said Mihai Godea.

Politologist Ion Tabirta stated that the Democratic Party didn’t yet say a definite ‘yes’ or ‘no’ as regards the support for the Filat 3 Government. “The phantom of early elections exists. The Liberal Party is no longer so homogenous as earlier. Among its members are definitively politicians who do not want early elections. If we speak about the candidacy of Filat, we have two scenarios. But, after the latest discussions, we may have a joint scenario – votes will be given by the PLDM and PDM, a part of the unaffiliated lawmakers and some of the MPs of the PL,” he said.
