Filat has phone conversation with Medvedev

“The dialogue with our Russian partners is consistent and has the necessary frequency”, Prime Minister Vlad Filat told the press, commenting on the latest phone conversation he had with his Russian counterpart Dmitri Medvedev. According to the Prime Minister, the discussion concerned the re-opening of the Bryansk customs terminal and other objectives proposed to be achieved until the meeting of the Moldovan-Russian inter-governmental Commission for Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation on November 15 and 16 in Chisinau. The two prime ministers exchanged views on energy matters as well. “It is not only the agreement we are about to enter with Gazprom that we're talking about, it is the entire complex relationship that we have in this field”, said Vlad Filat. The Prime Minister praised the fact that current discussions are “rather fulfilling at the expert level”. “The phone conversation was a good one, and the goals set are attainable. We are to continue working, leaving any emotions aside. It is not easy, I must admit, but the goal is attainable, and is one we should strive for”, said Vlad Filat. Vlad Filat and Dmitri Medvedev had a telephone conversation on Monday.
