The election runners competing for the post of mayor of Chisinau meet on TV cannels. The two likely winners – Communist candidate Igor Dodon and Liberal candidate Dorin Chirtoaca – will be invited to a special program on Pro TV Chisinau, moderator Lorena Bogza told Info-Prim Neo. The program starts at 21.00. Valeriu Strelet, of the PLDM, Corina Fusu of the PL, and a representative of the PDM will be invited to a special program on Prime TV, which will start at 21.30. Prime TV program director Lucia Aprodu stated for the Agency that they expect the president of honor of the PDM Dumitru Diacov or the PDM’s candidate for mayor Valentina Buliga to come to the program. Lucia Aprodu said they also invited Communist MP Iurie Muntean, but the invitation was turned down. Representatives of the PLDM, PCRM, PL, and PDM will also take part in Publika TV’s program Fabrica, starting at 21.00. At 20.00, Publika TV will broadcast a special program, where political analysts Igor Botan, Arcadie Barbarosie and Viorel Cibotaru will speak about the exit poll commissioned by Publika TV. The national TV channel Moldova 1 decided not to invite politicians and political analysts to discuss the elections in Moldova. The special post-electoral debate program that will start at 21.15 will involve the persons of art Ninela Caranfil and Arcadie Suceveanu. “We will try to have a different type of debate. The people started to be tired. We could invite experts in the field, commentators, politicians and analysts, but want to find out the opinion of people of culture,” said Moldova 1 vice director Efim Josanu.
