Moldova’s territorial-administrative unit Gagauzia and the Romanian county Harghita will sign a cooperation agreement. According to the press service of the Executive Committee of Gagauzia, the document is to be approved by the foreign ministries of the two countries, IPN reports.
Harghita County Council head Borboli Szabo sent the draft cooperation agreement to the Governor of Gagauzia Mihail Formuzal. After the Gagauz side studies it, they will submit their observations and suggestions.
The signing of the cooperation agreement between regions will take place at the invitation of Borboli Szabo, in Harghita county. The signing date hasn’t been announced.
Harghita county is home to the largest number of Hungarian ethnics in Romania - 85%.
