The head office of the People’s Party in Floresti town was vandalized. The head of the party’s Floresti local organization Ion Iavorski has told IPN that the thieves broke in last night. They broke the lock at the central entrance and stole a computer, tore up and scattered documents and other papers.

The party’s head office is located in a building in the center of the town. The building also houses a hairdresser’s, which was also robbed of valuable things.

”If they had been only thieves, they would have stolen the computer and gone away. But, it is evident that they devastated everything intentionally. The party is permanently promoted, has many members and is well-known in the district. I think the vandalizing is related to its political activity,” said Ion Iavorski.

He also said that they were in conflict with nobody. The People’s Party in the district has about 300 members, a youth organization, a women’s organization and a veterans’ organization.

An investigation is under way.
