The deputy chairman of the PDM Igor Corman will be suggested for the post of Speaker, the Democratic leader Marian Lupu said during the signing of the agreement on the formation of a pro-European coalition on May 30, IPN reports.

A vote will be held in Parliament to confirm or reject Igor Corman as Speaker.

Marian Lupu was dismissed from the post of Head of Parliament on April 25 by 76 votes of the Communist, Liberal-Democratic and unaffiliated MPs.
