President Igor Dodon is paying a working visit to Azerbaijan where he will take part in an international forum entitled “VII Global Baku Forum 2019 – New Foreign Policy” that will be held in Baku during March 14-16, IPN reports.

On his Facebook page, Igor Dodon wrote that the forum will involve Presidents, Prime Ministers, ministers, former heads of state and government, representatives of international organizations, politicians and public figures from different countries. While in Baku, he will have a number of bilateral meetings with high-ranking officials, including the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliуev.

“The participation in such an event offers the Republic of Moldova new opportunities for developing relations of friendship and cooperation with different states, especially in the commercial-economic sphere,” said President Dodon.
