Integrated Case Management Program to be upgraded

The Integrated Case Management Program will provide new possibilities that will enable to improve the management and increase transparency of institutions in the justice sector. The Ministry of Justice, the Superior Council of Magistracy and the United States Agency for International Development have signed a cooperation agreement to this effect, IPN has learned from the Ministry of Justice.

The project’s team will develop the current program. The internal working procedures in courts of law will be automated to easier manage the cases, the data about the performance of courts, budget planning and human resources. These actions will facilitate the people’s access to different electronic services of courts.

After the agreement signing ceremony, Minister of Justice Vladimir Cebotari said many processes in the 21st century are unimaginable without the use of new technology. “The implementation of these solutions will contribute to promptness, correction of the process and greater confidence in justice. The responsibility of judges will also increase. We want to offer the people a very clear and simple product,” he stated.

The project’s team is to choose the technical developer for the information system Integrated Case Management Program. All the judges and personnel of courts of law will be trained to use it within the Transparent Justice Program supported by USAID, which has a budget of almost US$5 million.
