Brigade General Iurie Cutie was suggested by the Cabinet for the post of chief of the General Staff of the National Army, commander of the Armed Forces. The decree on his appointment is to be signed by President Nicolae Timofti.

In the same Cabinet meeting, Nicolae Olaru was dismissed from the post of Deputy Minister of Agriculture based on his resignation. He will be replaced by Ion Parea, who has 25 years’ experience of working in the agricultural sector, including animal breeding.
