Iurie Leanca is paying his first working visit as Prime Minister to Brussels, on June 13-14, IPN reports.

The Premier will meet with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and a number of European commissioners, including Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle, Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malstrom, Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Dacian Ciolos, and Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger.

According to a communiqué from the Government, the discussions will focus on such subjects as Moldova’s European agenda and the measures taken to prepare for the next meeting of the Moldova-EU Cooperation Council that will take place at the end of June.
