Judoist Ghenadie Pretsivatyi is tenth athlete who qualified for 2010 Youth Olympics

Judo player Ghenadie Pretsivatyi is the tenth Moldovan sportsman who qualified for the 2010 Singapore Youth Olympic Games. Under a decision by the International Judo Federation and the National Olympic Committee of Moldova, Ghenadie Pretsivatyi will represent Moldova in the 81 kg class, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Sports Press Association. In the current season, coach Mihai Ciudin's pupil won a silver medal at the International Judo Tournament in Pitesti, Romania. Ghenadie is native of Clocusna village of Ocnita district. He is the winner of the national cadet judo championships in 2009 and 2010 and a participant in the World Judo Championship and the European Youth Olympic Festival held in Tampere, Finland. The national Olympic team now consists of ten sportspersons who will compete in athletics, swimming, table tennis, boxing, canoeing, archery, taekwondo and judo. The Youth Olympic Games will take place in Singapore during August 14-26.
