Law on advocacy adopted in final reading

The Parliament passed a bill with amendments to a number of secondary laws, which are aimed at reforming the bar, in final reading, Info-Prim Neo reports. The amendments provide for the creation of regional law offices and lay down stricter rules for entering the bar. The status of lawyer on probation was defined more clearly, while the mechanism for imposing disciplinary punishment and the norms concerning the continuous training of lawyers were modified. The amendments are designed to strengthen the profession of lawyer, change the general view on the role of the lawyer and organize the layer's work. The law will come into force after it is published in the Official Gazette.
