The candidate designated by the PLDM for the post of Prime Minister, Iurie Leanca, will be sacrificed in the game between the PCRM and PLDM. Leanca hasn’t been informed and is in a trap, the Liberal Party’s deputy chairman Valeriu Munteanu said in the program “Fabrika” on PublikaTV channel, IPN reports.
According to Valeriu Munteanu, the PLDM does not want to secure the Liberal Party’s support and is pushing the PL to the opposition because Vlad Filat sat at the negotiating table with Vladimir Voronin. Conditions are also imposed by Moscow. “Iurie Leanca will be sacrificed and will not be voted in because such an agreement was reached by Voronin and Filat,” said the Liberal MP.
Valeriu Munteanu also said that everything forms part of a secret plan of the PLDM and PCRM, which intend to discuss with those who left the PL and to develop political migration.
Democratic MP Adrian Candu said that in the last negotiations held to identify a candidate for premiership the former alliance colleagues discussed the fight against corruption. “We gave as example the institutions that administer public money, including the Tax Inspectorate, the Customs Service, the Audit Office, and the Ministry of Finance, which are all controlled by the PLDM. We proposed breaking this chain,” he said.
Adrian Candu also said that the agreement on the formation of a new alliance was 98% ready when the Constitutional Court passed its decision. “We proposed to make it public immediately after the signing. We wanted to prepare a law so as to institutionalize the coalitions. The bill is ready,” stated the Democratic lawmaker, adding that the PDM wasn’t contacted to be invited to talks.
