Lib-Dem and Communist MPs postpone Premier’s questioning

The questioning of Prime Minister Vlad Filat in Parliament was put off until next week at the proposal of the Communist parliamentary group. The Liberal-Democrat lawmakers voted in favor of the Communists’ proposal, Info-Prim Neo reports. Communist MP Sergiu Sarbu suggested postponing the questioning because the parliamentary commissions have not yet presented reports. The discussions about the Premier’s questioning started last week. On October 6, the Liberal-Democratic group proposed that the report should be rendered on October 13, but the proposal was accepted only by the Liberal-Democrat MPs. The next week, Vlad Filat will present in Parliament information about the raider attacks on financial-banking institutions, the socioeconomic situation in the country, the fulfillment of the budget, the formulation of the fiscal policy and budget for the next year.
