The Liberal Party head Mihai Ghimpu confirmed that his party is considering naming the current Minister of Youth and Sport Ion Cebanu as director of “Moldsilva” Agency, while boxer and historian Octavian Ticu as Minister of Youth and Sport, Info-Prim Neo reports. On February 5, Mihai Ghimpu told the journalists that Octavian Ticu is not a member of the Liberal Party. He also commented on Prime Minister Vlad Filat’s statements that he will accept in the administration of the Ministry of Youth and Sport and “Moldsilva” Agency only competent persons who know these areas well. “Mister Filat should clarify things at the ministries of which he is in charge. I will take care of the institutions controlled by the Liberal Party. I will convince no one as the AEI agreement must be respected,” he stated. The post of director of “Moldsilva” Agency fell vacant after Ion Lupu offered his resignation following the tragic hunting incident that happened in the Domneasca Forest.
