Maia Sandu submits application and file for registering PAS

The head of the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) Maia Sandu, together with members of the National Standing Bureau, on May 19 submitted an application and the file for registering the new part to the Ministry of Justice, IPN reports.

According to the party’s initiative group, the file contains over 6,000 applications for joining PAS collected in 18 districts and in the municipalities of Balti and Chisinau. The total number of PAS members exceeds 7,500. The applications were presented only for the settlements where local organizations of the party were already set up. During the next few weeks, meetings to constitute the PAS local administrative bodies will also be held in the other districts.

Maia Sandu said the PAS team used authentically democratic methods in the process of creating the political party. “We want to believe that we will be appreciated correctly and will obtain the registration as soon as possible,” she stated.

The Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) held the constitution congress on May 15. It aims to become a genuine pro-European alternative that will restore the people’s confidence in the state institutions by eliminating corruption and promoting honest and upright people.
