An employee of a Chisinau housing stock managing company suffered a severe eye trauma when he was using an angle grinder. Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Silvia Babara has told Info-Prim Neo that the 59-year-old man was injured by a part that detached itself from the angle grinder. He was rushed to Saint Trinity Hospital. A healthy baby boy was born in the house of his parents' friends on Cuza Voda Blvd. The 28-year-old woman gave birth to the baby 20 minutes after she went into labor. The boy is the second child in the family. The ambulance took the mother and baby to the hospital. An unidentified man of about 25 was seriously injured when he was struck by a taxi on Calea Mosilor St. He was admitted to the Emergency Hospital in a cerebral coma. The Chisinau Ambulance Service on September 6 dealt with 686 emergencies, including 62 cases of trauma, 37 cases of acute viral infection, four strokes, two heart attacks and 17 deliveries.
