Groups of experts entrusted with the task of drawing up the government program and the agreement on the ruling alliance start work tomorrow, July 14, the chairman of the Democrat Party Marian Lupu said after a new round of negotiations between the PLDM, PDM and PL, held in the evening of July 13, IPN reports.
“The negotiations advanced. We proposed that in parallel with the main negotiators, groups of experts will work to draft the government program and the agreement on the formation of the alliance. This way the negotiation process will go faster and not only the alliance, but also the Government will be formed by the end of this month,” stated Lupu.
As to the presidential elections that are to take place next March, the Democratic leader said this subject is being discussed at the negotiations. “We must identify a method of choosing the head of state so that we do not reach a new political impasse in the near future. For now we do not have a solution that would allow avoiding such an impasse,” said Lupu.
