The young Moldovan soloist Mihaela Chisnencu has won the Trophy offered by the famous Romanian group Blaxy Girls, a special prize and a diploma at the national pop music contest “Remember-2009” held in the Romanian town of Constanta, Info-Prim Neo reports. The soloist of Blaxy Girls, Roxana, said she has followed Mihaela performing and is very impressed by her. “Mihaela Chisnencu has a wonderful voice and great future in the Romanian music industry,” she said. “I competed in a very difficult age category – 16-25 years. The competition was stiff. Most of the singers were much older than me,” Mihaela Chisnencu stated for Info-Prim Neo. “In addition, I got a cold, but I concentrated all my efforts and managed to win several prizes, from the jury and the sponsors and from the band Blaxy Girls, which gave the Trophy to the best participant in the contest. I thank them for their approval.” 2009 was for Mihaela a fruitful year from professional viewpoint and a year full of major changes. On the invitation of composer Viorel Gavrila, Mihaela went to Bucharest and became a student of the Music Lyceum “Dinu Lipatti”. She is also a pupil of one of the best canto teachers in Romania, Iulian Baiasu, who taught such famous singers as Marcel Pavel, Andra and Moldovan singer Natalia Barbu. This year, Mihaelei has won three trophies, two top prizes, one second prize and one third prize at different national and international competitions. “I achieved good results, but I realized I still have many things to learn. I have exceptional teachers in Romania and I hope I will cope with all the challenges, Mihaela said. “At the same time, I miss the support and advice of my teacher, the late composer Anatol Roscovan.” This autumn, Mihaela was invited to the program “Danutz SRL” by Dan Bitman, to the program “Vineristar” on TVR and to Radio Romania Actualitati. Now she prepares to perform at a music show that will take place at the Children's Palace in Bucharest on January 15.
