The Liberal Party head Mihai Ghimpu is preparing a surprise. The Liberal leader told the journalists that he will give a news conference at the party’s head office at 16.30 today, April 19, IPN reports.

Mihai Ghimpu didn’t give details about the surprise, but, before making the announcement, criticized the actions of the former colleagues who form part of the Council for Reforming the Liberal Party.

The Premier designate Vlad Filat, who heads the Liberal Democratic Party, has attended the April 19 sitting of Parliament. Currently, the Liberal-Democratic faction, together with Vlad Filat, is holding discussions with the Democratic faction. It is rumored that the discussions focus on the bill concerning the joint electoral system submitted by the Democratic Party.
