Mihai Godea goes on parliamentary strike
Unaffiliated MP Mihai Godea went on parliamentary strike. He said that he will no longer take part in the voting of bills and will only put questions, until the MPs of the Alliance for European Integration honor their commitments, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Mihai Godea proposed including a bill to amend the Law on the Election of the President in the agenda of the May 31 sitting, but wasn’t supported. Afterward, Godea warned the Speaker that the bills are passed by a lower number of votes of MP than necessary to have a quorum.
The sitting was attended by 52 lawmakers. They went out and returned when the bills were examined and passed. Representatives of the mass media noticed that immediately after the sitting was declared deliberative, three MPs left the hall and did not take part in the examination and adoption of bills, while those who counted the votes said there were exactly 52 MPs.
