Mihai Godea rescued the Parliament's May 19 sitting. After the Communist parliamentary group left the meeting, the quorum was not present as there were only 50 lawmakers in the hall. After a pause of about 20 minutes, the sitting was resumed as Mihai Godea made his appearance in Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I was phoned by a colleague from the Alliance for European Integration. It does not matter who. It is important that I came. My vote was, is and will be important,” said Mihai Godea. Asked why he was not present at the beginning of the sitting, Mihai Godea said he was involved in electoral activities for this year's local elections.
