Moldova can open talks on creation of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area
The EU Foreign Affairs Council issued a mandate for opening the talks with Moldova on the creation of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government.
“The creation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area will pave the way for integrating Moldova’s economy into the common market of the EU, which will bring benefits to entire society,” Prime Minister Vlad Filat said in a news conference.
Last January, there were initiated the talks on the Association Agreement between Moldova and the EU, while last June – on the agreement on the liberalization of the visa regime. On June 16 this year, the EU Transport Council approved a mandate for the launch of negotiations with Moldova on an agreement on the development of a common airspace.
