Moldova hosts international handball competition
The Sports Venue Olimpus-85 in Chisinau will host, Oct.30 – Nov.1, the qualifying competition of the 6th European “Challenge Trophy” Handball Championship, Info-Prim Neo reports. The competition brings together the teams of Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

[Oct. 30] Georgia – Azerbaijan, Moldova – Armenia;
[Oct. 31] Armenia – Georgia, Azerbaijan – Moldova;
[Nov. 1] Azerbaijan – Armenia, Georgia – Moldova.
Four other teams – Finland, Ireland, Malta and Scotland – will hold an analogue qualifying competition in Malta.
The winning teams will qualify for the finals in the Austrian city of Linz, on January 23.
Challenge Trophy is a common effort by the International Handball Federation (IHF) and the European Federation (EHF). During the competitions, trainings will be provided for referees and coaches.
