Chisinau and Moscow will step up the measures to inform the people about the regime of stay on the territory of the two states. The issue was discussed in the Moldovan-Russian consultations on consular affairs held in Moscow on November 21. The consultations involved heads of consular services of the foreign ministries of the two countries, IPN has learned from the Moldovan ministry.

The delegations examined the basic aspects of the cooperation in the consular sphere. They agreed to swiftly solve the problems encountered by the citizens of one state on the territory of the other state.

The sides will continue the bilateral cooperation so as to identify the best solutions for strengthening the consular activity and agreed to hold the next round of consultations in Chisinau in 2014.
