The Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Bulgaria Anatol Cebuc received the highest award provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria – “Zlatna lavrova klonka”. The award was conferred on him in the presence of Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Ivan Kondrov noted the exceptional contribution made by the Moldovan ambassador to the development of the bilateral relations with Bulgaria.
At the same time, among the achievements of the Moldovan diplomat’s tenure are the signing, on March 26, 2024, of the Agreement between the Ministry of Education of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, which provides for the transformation of “Grigore Țamblac” State University of Taraclia into a branch of “Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse.
For his part, Anatol Cebuc expressed his gratitude for the award, noting that it is the result of the Embassy’s efforts to strengthen the friendly relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Bulgaria. The award was also offered in the context of the support provided by the Republic of Bulgaria to the Bulgarian community in Moldova, through various financial instruments and bilateral cooperation projects.
