The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova will hold the presidency of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC PA) in the first half of 2015. The subject was discussed in a meeting of Head of Parliament Igor Corman and BSEC Secretary General Victor Tvircun, IPN reports.
According to the legislature’s press service, Moldova’s Parliament will take over the presidency from the Parliament of Greece within the autumn session of the BSEC PA that will take place in Athens on December 8-9, 2014.
The fist meeting of the BSEC PA under the Moldovan Parliament’s presidency will take place in Chisinau on January 21-22, 2015. Moldova’s legislative body will hand over the presidency for the second half of 2015 to the Parliament of Romania. Also in the first half of 2015, Moldova will hold the presidency of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) and of the BSEC Business Council.
