MPs may use special stamp in March 16 elections
The chairman of the commission for the election of the head of state Tudor Deliu considers there should be instituted a special stamp for the March 16 elections – “Voted 2012 President of Moldova”. The MP told the journalists that the voting procedure and the form of the ballot will be decided on March 14, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In the Parliament’s hall, there is a service that can deal with the production of stamps, said Tudor Deliu, without specifying the costs.
On March 16, before the elections, the commission will remind the lawmakers that the vote is secret. “I think the Constitutional Court’s decision on the confidentiality of the vote will mobilize the MPs on March 16 so that the voting process is in accordance with the law and the secrecy of the vote is respected,” stated Tudor Deliu.
The special commission will have a meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture on Wednesday, March 14.
